HT over 0.5

HT over 0.5 goals wins if at least one goal is scored before half time. The scorer does not matter. A one-nil first half wins. A nil-nil first half loses, even if the match later becomes three-nil or four-two.
This is not a half-time/full-time result bet, even though the page slug has carried that older name. The list you are reading is the first-half goals line: over 0.5 at the break. Full-time goals do not rescue a blank first half.
Forty-five minutes plus first-half stoppage time is the whole window. A goal in the first minute of the second half is too late. If you are watching, the bet is already settled when the referee blows for the interval.
First halves are often quieter than second halves, so a goal before the break is a real question even in matches that look open. The published row is a view that this match is worth a first-half goal. It is not a view about the full-time total.
Slow starts, cautious first halves in derbies, and teams that score late are reasons a first-half goal can fail to arrive. Those patterns are uneven. Do not turn one team's last few matches into a rule for the next kickoff.
Do not confuse this with over 0.5 for the full match, which only needs a goal at any time. The half-time line is stricter on the clock and easier on the count: one goal is enough, but it has to be early.
Read the lineup, stake a fixed amount if the price matches the chance you give a first-half goal, and ignore the rest of the match once the interval arrives. Later goals are a different market.
